Lindsay & Wayne

Eccleston Church, Chester

1st June 2024

On June 1, 2024, the picturesque village of Eccleston set the scene for Lindsay and Wayne’s beautiful wedding ceremony. Held at the stunning Eccleston Church of St Mary’s, built by the Duke of Westminster, the day was a perfect blend of love, joy, and the tranquil beauty of the English countryside. As their wedding photographer, I had the honour of capturing these special moments that will be cherished for a lifetime.

The Venue – Eccleston Church of St Mary’s

The choice of venue for Lindsay and Wayne’s ceremony was simply exquisite. Eccleston Church, Chester, is a stunning architectural gem, with its history dating back to the 19th century. The church’s interior is just as breathtaking as its exterior, adorned with beautiful stained glass windows and an aura of serenity that envelops you as you enter.

From the moment they said “I do,” it was clear that this sacred place was the ideal backdrop for their vows. The intimate atmosphere allowed for heartfelt moments among family and friends, highlighting the day’s significance. As a wedding photographer, I always find that venues like Eccleston Church really help in creating a narrative filled with emotion, allowing me to capture candid shots that tell a story.

Capturing the Essence of the Day

As the couple exchanged their vows, I focused on capturing every emotion — the joy, the laughter, and even the happy tears. Lindsay looked stunning in her wedding gown, and Wayne was the epitome of a proud groom. Their shared glances and the smiles exchanged during the ceremony are moments I was privileged to preserve through my wedding photography.

After the ceremony, we moved outside the church for the group portraits. The beautifully maintained grounds of Eccleston Church provided a stunning backdrop, complimenting the idyllic setting. Family members and friends came together, each bringing their unique energy and excitement to the photos, which resulted in a delightful collection of memories.

The Village Hall Reception

Following the heartwarming ceremony at the church, we made our way to the village hall, which is located just a short 100-metre stroll away. The hall, surprisingly bright and inviting, proved to be a fantastic choice for the wedding reception. The décor was simple yet elegant, perfectly reflecting Lindsay and Wayne’s personalities.

As a wedding photographer, I always appreciate venues that offer a welcoming atmosphere for guests, allowing for a relaxed environment. Guests mingled, laughter echoed, and the love between Lindsay and Wayne was palpable. I set to work capturing the interactions and joy of the couple and their guests shared during the reception.

The Celebration – A Day to Remember

As the evening progressed, the dance floor opened up, allowing couples to let loose and have a great time celebrating. The joy radiated from every corner of the hall. Capturing the lively moments of dancing and celebration was a highlight of the day, showcasing the true essence of their joyful union.

Looking back at Lindsay and Wayne’s wedding day at Eccleston Church, Chester, I feel grateful to have been part of such a beautiful occasion. Every moment, from the solemn vows to the joyous reception, was a testament to love and togetherness. As a wedding photographer, it’s these moments that inspire me and remind me of the power of love in its many forms.

If you are considering a wedding in a charming setting, I wholeheartedly recommend Eccleston Church and its surroundings. Moments like these, captured in the heart of Chester, make for not only breathtaking photographs but also lasting memories that will be cherished for years to come. So, here’s to Lindsay and Wayne! May your life together be filled with happiness, love, and countless amazing adventures.

Hi. Nick Bradley here. Born and raised in Wales, lived in Australia for ten years, now back in beautiful North Wales where I’m starting a family.

I studied Photography & Digital Design at Blackpool & Fylde University and have over 15 years experience working with all sorts of camera equipment. There is northing on this planet I’d rather be doing than photography. Seeing people happy when they receive a beautiful print of themselves that I’ve shot gives me all the motivation to keep going. I try and take care to make every image a client receives is as natural and flattering as possible. I believe this is where the real skill of people photography comes in.

At present I’m focussing on building my wedding portfolio but I have experience in product photography, some landscape photography and editorial style fashion photography. The latter being a great deal of my earlier work and whilst I was at university.

If there is anything you are needing professional images for, please get in touch as I have pretty good all round knowledge.
