Gwrych Castle

11th May 2024

On the 11th of May 2024, the enchanting Gwrych Castle became the backdrop for a truly special occasion: the wedding of Daisy and Joe. This iconic venue is not only famous for its stunning architecture and scenic views but has also made a name for itself as a beloved location through its appearance on the popular show, “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”

The Venue – Gwrych Castle

Gwrych Castle, located in the picturesque hills of North Wales, stands as a testament to Gothic revival architecture. The castle has an intriguing history and has been beautifully restored over the years, making it the perfect location for weddings. On the day of Daisy and Joe’s wedding, the ceremony took place in the Coach House, a newly refurbished area that had just seen the final touches of paint the day before. As a wedding photographer, it was both an honour and a delight to be the first to capture moments in this immaculate space.

Capturing Moments – Wedding Photography by Nick

As “Photography By Nick,” I specialise in wedding photography and take pride in capturing the unique story of each couple on their special day. For Daisy and Joe, I envisioned a narrative set against the breathtaking aesthetics of Gwrych Castle.

The Coach House offered a warm and intimate setting for the ceremony, filled with personal touches that reflected Daisy and Joe’s style and personality. With carefully chosen decor and the soft light flooding in, the atmosphere was perfect for capturing candid moments and emotional exchanges during the vows.

The Allure of Gwrych Castle Grounds

One of the greatest advantages of choosing Gwrych Castle for your wedding is the unmatched variety of photo opportunities available. The grounds truly provide an endless number of spots for great photos, each location telling its own story. From the grand façade of the castle itself to the whimsical gardens that surround it, every corner offers a new perspective.

For Daisy and Joe, we explored several enchanting spots around the castle grounds. The sun-dappled paths, lush greenery, and historical stone walls all contributed to stunning backdrops that were timeless and elegant. The couple’s chemistry shone brightly against these picturesque settings, resulting in photographs that will forever encapsulate the joy of their wedding day.

A Family and Friends Gathering

The day was not just about Daisy and Joe; it was also a gathering of family and friends coming together to celebrate love. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, happy tears, and heartfelt speeches. As a wedding photographer, it was a pleasure to capture these moments, as they truly represent the essence of wedding photography—portraying love, joy, and shared experiences.

The unique backdrop of Gwrych Castle enriched these moments further. Guests wandering through the grounds, clinking glasses, and the sounds of celebration created a magical scene that I was privileged to document. Daisy and Joe had thoughtfully arranged activities that allowed their guests to fully enjoy the stunning venue, all of which culminated in extraordinary photographs that reflected the harmonious blend of moments and memories.

Daisy and Joe’s wedding at Gwrych Castle on the 11th of May 2024 was a remarkable event filled with love, laughter, and beauty. The combination of a historic venue, an intimate ceremony in the newly renovated Coach House, and the enchanting grounds created a perfect setting for unforgettable memories.

As a wedding photographer, it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of this significant day. I thoroughly enjoyed capturing the essence of Daisy and Joe’s story against the stunning backdrop of Gwrych Castle. This venue not only provides a beautiful space for wedding photography but also enriches the overall experience of couples and their loved ones.

Every photograph tells a story, and I am grateful to have been the one to capture Daisy and Joe’s special day, creating memories that they will cherish for a lifetime. If you are considering Gwrych Castle for your own wedding photography, it’s an opportunity you won’t want to miss!

Hi. Nick Bradley here. Born and raised in Wales, lived in Australia for ten years, now back in beautiful North Wales where I’m starting a family.

I studied Photography & Digital Design at Blackpool & Fylde University and have over 15 years experience working with all sorts of camera equipment. There is northing on this planet I’d rather be doing than photography. Seeing people happy when they receive a beautiful print of themselves that I’ve shot gives me all the motivation to keep going. I try and take care to make every image a client receives is as natural and flattering as possible. I believe this is where the real skill of people photography comes in.

At present I’m focussing on building my wedding portfolio but I have experience in product photography, some landscape photography and editorial style fashion photography. The latter being a great deal of my earlier work and whilst I was at university.

If there is anything you are needing professional images for, please get in touch as I have pretty good all round knowledge.
